OUR VISION:
Follow Jesus & lead others to do the same.
We do this by inviting a generation of students to have a relationship with Jesus, equipping them to know the truth, and sending them to do the same in their communities.
Student Leader Requirements
Has a personal relationship with Jesus & is committed to follow his example on a daily basis.
Regularly attends First Orlando Students & participates in a small group.
Supports and carries the vision of First Orlando Students.
Committed to living out the First Orlando Students culture.
Models maturity, humility & teachability.
Willing to be flexible, take responsibility, & receive direction.
Willing to complete student SAFE training.
Miss no more than two Wednesdays & communicate with Emma when you are unable to make it or be late.
Able to arrive at 5:30P & stay until 9:00P.
Teams & Responsibilities
Connections:
Lead with hospitality & be a friendly face to all who enter.
Connect students with other students & be a host to first time guests.
Learn how to use our systems for checking students in & adding them to the system.
Follow up with new students.
Set up and tear down check-in & signage.
Snacks:
Plan snacks for the semester & ensure all materials needed are accounted for.
Serve snacks each week, taking the opportunity to be hospitable & connect with others.
Flip the room for service & lobby time (move snacks and water).
Pick up student leader dinner & return items to Food Services.
Ensure snack table and water station is clean & well-kept.
Set up & tear down snacks.
Games:
Plan games for the semester & ensure all materials needed are accounted for.
Supervise & ref all games & crafts as needed, taking the opportunity to be hospitable & connect with others.
Ensure games & crafts are clean & well-kept.
Flip the room for service & lobby time.
Set up & tear down games & crafts.
Production/Tech:
Plan & think through each element of service.
Run slides, sound, & lights.
Set up speakers/hosts with teaching table, mics, & any other materials needed.
Learn how to run all systems.
Plan & capture social media content.
Assist other teams with flipping the room for service & lobby time.
Set out & collect bibles, paper, and pens for service each week.
Set up & tear down tech equipment.
